Our Story

GTADQIU: Let the wild and interesting spirits live in the palm of your hand.

When the whispers of wild creatures are only spoken to a few, we always ask: how can we bring the soul of nature home - without ever asking it for a single penny?

For many years, we watched children press their tiny hands against the glass of the zoo, their eyes following the sweeping arc of a snow leopard's tail, the stream of purple and blue macaw feathers sweeping by.

“Can it be my friend?” they always ask.

But wildlife belongs in the wind, in the forest, in the sky-not in human living rooms.

And so we began a gentle “rebellion”: creating lifelike creatures with our hands, infusing childhood with wild magic, but leaving nature unharmed in the gentlest of ways.

We have spent years chasing the “impossible” - studying the angle at which the ear feathers of the eagle owl are tilted, the ripples in the fur of the red fox as it runs, and the way the moonlight rests on the shoulder of the wolf.

Hundreds of attempts have failed: artificial plush is cold and hollow, mechanical stitches have lost their soul.

How to honor the wild creatures with human hands?

In 2021, a shimmer of light breaks through:

We find safe materials to prevent the fillings from harming nature.

And we insist on slow and meticulous work:

Each GTADQIU companion has been subjected to the temperature of 42 hands

From the first sketch to the final stitch - every stitch is a contract with nature.

Today, when a child sleeps with Koda the Moon Bear or confides secrets to Wise the Barn Owl, they are not embracing a doll, but a solemn promise:

To adore the wild, not to possess it.

To love the wild, not to possess it. --To play with joy, not to leave scars.

-- When a partner's journey ends,

fiber returns to fertile ground to plant the seeds of tomorrow's wonders.

We are GTADQIU

Keepers of the wild echoes, weavers of the eternal spirit. Nourishing both the child's heart and the earth by true bondage - until the last thread, returns to the dust
